HTC might not have plans to release its rumored One M10 handset at MWC 2016, but that’s not stopping the company from announcing a few things at the trade show. New to HTC’s mid-range lineup are the Desire 530, Desire 630 and Desire 825. Let’s take a look to see what they have to offer!

Starting with the design, HTC says the three devices were inspired by urban street wear and are supposed to “bridge the gap between fashion and consumer electronics.” The two higher-end phones, the Desire 825 and 630, feature a specially created micro splash effect on their polycarbonate shells, making each one unique. The Desire 825 and 630 will be available in Stratus White Remix with duo color micro splash and Graphite Gray Remix with gold micro splash color options, while the 530 will be available in Graphite Grey and Solid Stratus White block colors. HTC is also launching two-tone snap cases and colorful lanyards with these phones, as well.
Okay, enough about the aesthetics. What do these phones have to offer under the hood?

The phones come with 5.0-inch 720p Super LCD displays, aside from the Desire 830 which sports a bigger 5.5-inch screen. The Desire 530, which is decidedly the lowest-end of the bunch, is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, and a 2200mAh battery. Its 8MP rear camera should be good enough to take some solid well-lit shots, while the 5MP front camera should be able to handle all of your selfie needs.

Moving on to the Desire 630 and 825, both devices sport quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processors clocked at 1.6GHz, 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear cameras and 5MP front cameras. The 630 comes with a 2200mAh battery as well, while the 825 sports a bigger 2700mAh cell with fast charging capabilities. Both are also Hi-Res Audio certified and come with HTC’s infamous BoomSound with Dolby Audio technology. In some regions, these two devices will come bundled with a Hi-Res headset.

In addition, the Desire 825 will come with something HTC is calling the Sensor Hub, which is an always-on hub that will record your daily activity, gestures and dynamic movement. This data will be able to integrate with fitness tracking platforms like Runtastic, Runkeeper, Endomondo Running and Walking, and Google Fit.

All three of these phones come with 16GB of on-board storage, expandable storage up to 2TB and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense. They’ll be available from March 2016 at select retailers and at HTC.com. Pricing is yet to be determined, but we’ll be sure to update you as we know more.
